Job Description
We’re looking for a DevOps-focused Software Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain the systems that support our development and deployment processes along with Application administration. This role involves working on CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and contributing to Application administration and management.
You’ll collaborate with other engineers to implement scalable solutions, integrate tools, and write clean, maintainable code that supports deployment workflows and infrastructure as code. Responsibilities:
Help with administration and maintenance of Applications and tools like Atlassian Jira, Static analysis tools etc
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast, safe, and automated deployments.
Contribute to infrastructure automation and cloud environment management.
Build internal tools, manage applications and scripts that improve engineering workflows.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and ops teams to ensure smooth delivery of software.
Qualifications
Experience: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 2+ years, with strong development experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, git), Application administration, cloud platforms (AWS), configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Application Administration: Experience in applications like JIRA, Artifactory and static analysis tools is preferred.
Programming and Scripting: Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Process: Implement branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.
Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.
System and networking: Familiarity with system administration tasks, including managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring network services, and ensuring system security and performance optimization.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, or related technologies are a plus.
Security Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
